part of the problem was we started off a day with clouds, rain that blocked the sun, and we needed a little bit of warm sunshine to make it feel seasonal and i don't think we're going to get it tomorrow. look at the time lapse cameras and it's grey, gloomy and jackie was right. it was a miserable day today. we're expecting that there might be some improvement maybe by monday or tuesday when temperatures warm up dramatically, but tonight we're reporting about .35 inch of a rainfall this morning. it's currently raining in mid -way airport and i forgot the other place, so we won't worry about it. showers into missouri and illinois and big thunderstorms as a matter of fact. the last of the showers are pushing off to the east, and that's going to be it for a while for the chicago area, but there might be additional development later on tonight, so we could see showers and sprinkles. already we're watching a little bit of action well off to our west as you can see. but this is the main energy for all of the rainfall. our computer is suggesting that maybe tomorrow we'll see showers, and pro

we'll probably see a lot less sun today. we'll push in warm air, make it into the mid-80s this afternoon. there'll be showers and thunderstorms erupting through pennsylvania and maybe western maryland by this evening. other-wise, spotty showers ahead of this main line. the line of stuff appears to fall apart overnight. probably crossing our region before daybreak. we could have wet roads to wake up to, but most of the rain trying to pull out of here, maybe spotty showers leftover with the slow push of this thing out of the region through tomorrow afternoon. other-wise, we're looking for a pretty decent weekend stacking up. dry weather, warm temperatures behind it. two-degree guaranteed high, aiming for 84. i think we'll take the trade-off with a mostly cloudy sky. just a small chance of a shower, most of the afternoon practices and games are going to be underway without a problem. overnight, we could get showers and a rumble of thunder, especially west of the area. down to 67 degrees. a spotty shower possible tomorrow, 79. w
